Coldplay is the latest band to have their music included in the popular iPhone app game Tap Tap's Revenge. The "Coldplay Edition" includes ten Coldplay hits and a rare remix of "Viva La Vida." The game is available now for the iPhone. In other Coldplay news, the band filed papers in a Los Angeles court yesterday responding to Joe Satriani's lawsuit over "Viva La Vida" and its similarity to one of the guitarist's own tunes. The band claimed that the Satriani song "If I Could Fly" "lacks originality" and that any similarity was minimal enough that the lawsuit is not warranted, according to E! Online.

Speaking of the iPhone, Trent Reznor has revealed details about his own Nine Inch Nails iPhone app. In a new video available at access.nin.com, Reznor and NIN art director Rob Sheridan show off the features, including the ability to find fellow NIN fans in person, as well as get updates on the band, see photos from live gigs and much more. Reznor is awaiting approval from Apple before the app can officially launch.

Tool's Maynard James Keenan and Chester Bennington of Linkin Park both have cameos in the new film Crank: High Voltage, which opens next Friday, April 17. According to reports, Bennington (who appeared in the first Crank film) has a run-in with Jason Statham's Chev at a horse track, while Keenan plays a dog walker who also encounters Chev. Mike Patton of Faith No More fame produced the soundtrack for the flick.

Jack White's newest side project, The Dead Weather, will play their first proper gig next Tuesday, April 14 at New York City's Bowery Ballroom. The band, fronted by Alison Mosshart of The Kills, will release their album Horehound sometime in June.

Staten Island's St. George Library Center is hosting a "whodunit" for children. In "Sleuths on the Scene," kids solve a make-believe crime with a hands-on investigation. Find free comedy in Brooklyn at Cameo. Hosted by Max Silvestri, Gabe Liedman and Jenny Slate, the "Big Terrific" brings up-and-coming comedians under one roof.
